This photo was taken in 2008 on the first day of the Introduction to Photography course, which was the first requirement for my degree. The exercise involved each of us wearing a blindfold and walking around the Ithaca College campus with a Kodak disposable film camera. We were to take photos without our eyes therefore forcing us to use our other senses to discover how atmosphere contributes to our choices in subject and composition. The photos also were taken on black and white film to provide deeper concentration on composition rather than color. This photo much like the other blindfolded picture was taken behind the chapel on campus. However, this one was taken facing the chapel while standing on the part of the bridge in the previous picture.
